Faint with Love

In J. Parker’s devotional book on Intimacy revealed: 52 Devotions to Enhance Sex in Marriage,  this one is about being faint with love.   J. Parker defines this being faint with love as being lovesick for your spouse and this area is on the sexual end.

“In every marriage, one spouse desires sex more than the other. Thus, it’s perfectly normal and natural for the wife to be the one to gets a bit lovesick for her spouse” (Parker, 120).

I’ve been transparent on here regularly that I’m the higher desire spouse in our marriage.  I have felt lovesick for my husband in the past in desiring sexual connection more.  I listen to my husband’s desires more these days and we have better unity when it comes to sex now than we did in the past.
