Cancer is one of the many deadly diseases. I know many people who have had it one form or another. Family members, co-workers, friends both online and real life. Many that I know have been really active and healthy and you are so shocked that it happened to them. Only a handful few have been able to successfully beat it. It all had to do so much with changing their lifestyle A LOT in many areas, and choosing God. To trust in him, to gain strength from HIM to fight it. And the others have sadly gone home to Jesus in a short amount of time. Who knows why. Only God chooses when it’s their time. He made us. We belong to Him. We created us from dust, and we go back to dust. But Spirit will always be with us and goes to Jesus on the other side.
Peace is given with strength. Worry adds stress. God says to us that we have to let go in everything to HIM. It’s knowing that God is with us even when things are tough.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers” Philippians 4:6-7
“The Lord himself will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will never leave you. He will never desert you. So don’t be afraid. Don’t lose hope” Deuteronomy 31:8
Life is so short. Treasure every moment that you have. Enjoy the life that you have. Reach for your dreams. Treasure every moment in love with your family and friends. Take in their support. Respect your time with them. Love them. Do anything and everything you can with them. Don’t have any regrets. Glorify every breathing moment to the Lord. Pray. It’s a powerful tool. Take in each breath with joy. Give in your life for Him. Allow Him to lead you to fight and win. Not be afraid of God. Not be afraid of the future. Not be afraid of death. Not be afraid of God’s promise after death. Fear in your love for Jesus. Hope is so much more than you realize. Don’t lose God. Don’t lose faith. Don’t lose hope. TRUST and FIGHT! He wants us to embrace US and our lives, and in all the things we do in this physical world. Our souls will always live on but we can’t just succumb to like oh, that’s the end of me when something like this attacks our bodies. You are still living until the last breath is taken on God’s time.
Technology has done wonders over time in the medical field. Machines, drugs, and etc. That can help us fight it. But we need to do more outside of the hospital to keep winning. We need to center God daily and especially in times like this. To clean our bodies, and to clean our lifestyle to be more like Christ.
