Late Autumn Biblical Verses

Here is some more biblical verses that I have considered as a favorite on my phone’s bible app, You Version Holy Bible using the ERV (Easy To Read Version).  Hope you like them!

  • It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful. No, your beauty should come from inside you–the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. That beauty will never disappear. it is worth very much to God–1 Peter 3:3-4
  • But they should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. That is more appropriate for women who say they are devoted to God–1 Timothy 2:10
  • I always look to the Lord for help. Only he can free me from my troubles–Psalms 25:15
  • Loving God means obeying his commands. And God’s commands are not too hard for us–1 John 5:3
  • In God’s kingdom, what we ate and drink is not important. Here is what is important: a right way of life, peace, and joy–all from the Holy Spirit–Romans 14:17
  • Your body came from the eart5h. And when you die, it will return to the earth. But your spirit came from God, and when you die, it will return to him–Ecclesiastes 12:7
  • Good homes are built on wisdom and understanding–Proverbs 24:3

  • Husbands, love your wives the same as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it–Ephesians 5:25

  • God is spirit. So the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth–John 4:24

  • You must depend on Christ only, drawing life and strength from him. Just as you were taught the truth, continue to grow stronger in your understanding of it. And never stop giving thanks to God–Colossians 2:7
  • Jesus answered, “The fact is, before Abraham was born, I AM”–John 8:58
  • Sprinkled with the blood of Christ, our hearts have made free from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. So come near to God with a sincere heart, full of confidence because of our faith in Christ. We must hold on to the hope we have, never hesitating to tell people about it. We can trust God to do what he promised–Hebrews 10:22-23

  • There is a right time for everything and everything on earth will happen at the right time–Ecclesiastes 3:1
  • God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. This is the rule for all the meetings of God’s people–1 Corinthians 14:33
  • Then Jesus said to them, “Be careful and guard against all kinds of greed. People do not get life from the many things they own.”–Luke 12:15
  • But you belong to God. So  you should stay away from all those things. Always try to do what is right, to be devoted to God, and to have faith, love, patience, and gentleness–1 Timothy 6:11
  • God is the only one who never dies. He lives in light so bright that people cannot go near it. No one has ever seen him; no one is able to see him. All honor and power belong to him forever. Amen–1 Timothy 6:16
  • Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become God’s child. And so everyone who loves knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love–1 John 4:7-8
  • To do this, I work and struggle using the great strength that Christ gives me. That strength is working in my life–Colossians 1:29
  • Who ever believes and is baptized will be saved. But those who do not believe will be judged guilty– Mark 16:16
  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength–Mark 12:30

  • I, the Lord, am the one speaking to you. Come, let’s discuss this. Eve if your sins are dark as red dye, that stain can be removed and you will be pure as wool that is as white as snow–Isaiah 1:18
  • God, be merciful to me because of your faithful love. Because of your great compassion, erase all the wrongs I have done–Psalms 51:1
  • God, create a pure heart in me, and make my spirit strong again–Psalms 51:10
  • He is pure, and everyone who has this hope in him keeps themselves pure like Christ–1 John 3:3
  • But the government that rules us is in heaven. We are waiting for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from there–Philippians 3:20
  • Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking. It is for peace that you were chosen to be together in one body. And  always be thankful–Colossians 3:15
  • She is a strong person, and people respect her. She looks to the future with confidence–Proverbs 31:25
  • Not only the world, but we also have been waiting with pain inside us. We have the sprit as the first part of God’s promise. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his own children. I mean we are waiting for our bodies to be made free–Romans 8:23
  • I mean we are made right with God through faith, not through what we have done to follow the law. This is what we believe–Romans 3:28
  • Dear friends we have these promises from God. So we should make ourselves pure–free from anything that makes  body or our soul unclean. Our respect for God should make us try to be completely holy in the way we live–2 Corinthians 7:1
  • Refuse to follow the devil. Stand strong in your faith. You that your brothers and sisters all over the world are having the same sufferings that you have–1 Peter 5:9
  • God has sent his special servant Jesus. He sent him to you first. He sent him to bless you by causing each of you to turn away from  your evil ways–Acts 3:26
  • Who ever accepts you also accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts throne who sent me–Matthew 10:40
  • Those who live right respect the Lord, but dishonest people hate him–Proverbs 14:2
  • Foolish words cause you trouble; wise words protect you–Proverbs 14:3
  • A good witness is one who does not lie. A bad witness is a liar who cannot be trusted–Proverbs 14:5
  • We should live in the light, where God is. If we live in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood sacrifice of Jesus, God’s son, washes away every sin and makes us clean–1 John 1:7
  • I am your Lord and Teacher. But I washed your feet. So you should wash each other’s feet–John 13:14
  • When the baby was eight days old, he was circumcised, and he was named Jesus. This name was given by the angel before the baby began to grow inside Mary–Luke 2:21
  • God did this so that he could buy the freedom of those who were under the law. God’s purpose was to make us his children–Galatians 4:5
  • You will teach me the right way to live. Just being with you will bring complete happiness. Being at your right side will make me happy forever–Psalms 16:11
  • Yes, we will be happy because the Lord did a great thing for us–Psalms 126:3
  • This will happen when the special child is born. God will give us a son who will be responsible for leading the people. His name will be “Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace.–Isaiah 9:6
  • The Lord will always lead you and satisfy your needs in dry lands. He will give strength to your bones. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring that never goes dry–Isaiah 58:11
  • Teach children in a way that fits their needs, even when they are old, they will not leave the right path–Proverbs 22:6
  • You must honor and respect your father and your mother. Do this so that you will have a full life in the land that the  Lord your God gives you–Exodus 20:12
  • Love doesn’t hurt others. SO loving is the same as obeying all the law–Romans 13:10
  • Love is never happen when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth–1 Corinthians 13:6
  •  I try with all my heart to serve you. Help me obey your commands–Psalms 119:10
  • Do what is right and fair. The Lord love that more than sacrifices–Proverbs 21:3
  • I will put my Spirit inside you and change you so that you obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands–Ezekiel 36:27
  • No one takes my life away from me. I give my own life freely. I have the right to give my life, and I have the right to get it back again. This is what the Father told me–John 10:18
  • There is one body and one Spirit, and God chose you to have one hope. There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. There is one God ad Father of us all, who rules over everyone. He works through all of us and in all of us–Ephesians 4:4-6
  • So when you give to the poor, don’t let anyone know what you are doing–Matthew 6:3
  • The devil has been sinning since the beginning. Anyone who continues to sin belongs to the devil. The Son of God  came for this: to destroy the devil’s work–1 John 3:8
  • SO anyone who things they are standing strong should be careful that they don’t fall–1 Corinthians 10:12
  • Don’t be come angry quickly because anger is foolish–Ecclesiastes 7:9
  • An enemy might be able to defeat one person, but two people can stand back-to-back to defend each other. And three people are even stronger. They are like a rope that has three parts wrapped together–it is very hard to break–Ecclesiastes 4:12
  • People who live following their sinful selves think only about what they want. But those who live following the Spirit are thinking about what the Spirit wants them to do–Romans 8:5
  • So they are no longer two, but one. God has joined them together, so no one should separate them–Matthew 19:6
  • But we are the ones who have the true circumcision–we who worship God through his Spirit. We don’t trust in ourselves or anything we can do. We take pride only in Christ Jesus–Philippians 3:3
  • It will bring light to those who live in darkness, in fear of death. It will guide us into the way that brings peace–Luke 1:79
  • Make sure you are going the right way, and nothing will make you fall. Don’t go to the right or to the left, and you will stay away from the evil–Proverbs 4:26-27
  • He will come back and comfort us again. He will throw all our sins into the deep sea–Micah 7:19
  • Fathers, don’t make your children angry, but raise them with the kind of teaching and training you learn from the Lord–Ephesians 6:4
  • With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come for God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it–Hebrews 4:16
