Continued Biblical Verses!

Back in March, I shared some biblical scriptures that I liked, and now it’s almost May. I’m back to share some more that I’ve liked from my Holy Bible app since the last post on this.


  • So I tell you, continue to ask, and God will give it to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you–Luke 11:9

  • Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see–Hebrews 11:1

  • Don’t give the devil a way to defeat you–Ephesians 4:27

  • When you are angry, don’t let that anger make you sin, and don’t stay angry all day–Ephesians 4:26

  • With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way–Proverbs 3:6

  • So I am not the one living now–it is Christ living in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of  God. He is the one who loved me and gave himself to save me–Galatians 2:20

  • Do for others what you would want them to do for you. This is the meaning of the Law of Moses and the teaching of the prophets–Matthew 7:12

  • Always be full of joy. Never stop praying. Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how God wants you to live in Christ Jesus–1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

  • Kind words are like a life-giving tree, but lying words will crush  your spirit–Proverbs 15:4

  • Always be humble and gentle. Be patient and accept each other with love–Ephesians 4:2

  • Be kind and loving to each other. Forgive each other the same as God forgave you through Christ–Ephesians 4:32

  • You should know that you yourselves are God’s temple. God’s spirit lives in you–1 Corinthians 3:16

  • Training your body helps you in some ways. But devotion to God helps you in every way. It brings you blessings in this life and in the future life too–1 Timothy 4:8

  • Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge–Proverbs 3:5

  • Don’t trust in your own wisdom, but fear and respect the Lord and stay away from evil–Proverbs 3:7

  • If you do this, it will be like a refreshing drink and medicine for your body–Proverbs 3:8

  • But the wisdom that comes from God is like this: First, it is pure. It is also peaceful, gentle, and easy to please. This wisdom is always ready to help people who have trouble and to do good for others. This wisdom is always fair and honest–James 3:17

  • IN all the work you are given, do the best you can. Work as though you are working for the Lord, not any earthy  master–Colossians 3:23

  • So you must stop telling lies. “You must always speak truth to each other” because we all belong to each other in the same body–Ephesians 4:25

  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever–Hebrews 13:8

  • This light produces every kind of goodness, right living, and truth–Ephesians 5:9

  • Wives, be willing to serve your husbands the same as the Lord–Ephesians 4:22

  • A husband is the head of his wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church. Christ is the savior of the Church, which is his body–Ephesians 5:23

  • The Church serves under Christ, so it is the same with you wives. You should be willing to serve your husbands in everything–Ephesians 5:24

  • and Husbands should love their wives like that. They should love their wives as they love their bodies.  The man who loves his wife loves himself–Ephesians 5:28

  • The command says ” You must respect your father and mother” This is the first command that has a  promise with it–Ephesians 6:2

  • And this is the promise: Then all will go well with you, and you will have a long life on the earth.—Ephesians 6:3

  • Wear the full amour of God. Wear God’s armor so that you can fight against the devil’s clever tricks–Ephesians 6:11

  • No, we will speak the truth with love.  We will grow to be like Christ in every way. He is the head—Ephesians 4:15

  • Your words can be as satisfying as fruit, as pleasing as the food that fills your stomach–Proverbs 18:20

  • Live a life of love. Love others just as Christ loved us.  He gave himself for us–a sweet smelling offering and sacrifice to God–Ephesians 5:2

  • The spirit God gave us does not make us afraid. His spirit is a source of power and love and self-control–2 Timothy 1:7

  • But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this.  He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done–1 John 1:9

  • Live together in peace with each other. Don’t be  proud, but be willing to be friends with people who are not  important to others. Don’t think of yourself as smarter than everyone else–Romans 12:16

  • I pray that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. I pray that your life will be strong in love and be built on love–Ephesians 3:17

  • Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control  your life–Proverbs 4:23

  • So always tell each other the wrong things that you have done. Then pray for each other. Do this so that God can  heal you. Anyone who lives the way God wants can pray, and great things will happen–James 5:16
