Today is a special rare day being Feb 29th; a leap day which only occurs every four Februarys and it’s a close to the "love" month. I have some news that wrap up the rest of the month that’s continued from the last entry so read on to find out what has happened!
On Feb 16th, our baby registry was finished with Toys R US/Babies R US!!! We’re very happy with that. We also booked that day for our special 3D/4D ultrasound which will happen for Saturday March 15th in the afternoon! So it should be interesting! I can’t wait for us to go to that! Expensive but worth it especially that this is our first pregnancy! Later that night, we also had our dinner date at Tru Restaurant which was awesome; great service & food! Isaiah even said he liked the place better than Black Trumpet (where we went to have our anniversary dinner last year in May!). That comment alone made me happy as I was the one that made the dinner reservation for that place as our belated v-day dinner date!
The next day (Feb 17th) – Emily comes over to have a visit with me. She wanted to see me as being pregnant and catch up on stuff. I hadn’t seen her since her July wedding (last year) and she lives in Oshawa (born and raised in London though!) We spent 3 hours together as a total of our visit, so that was great! Hope she’s able to come down again before the baby comes, and I know she’ll want to come sometime in the summer to meet our new son!
The following day, Feb 18th was a new provincial holiday which was Family Day Holiday! Isaiah and I had the day off work which was fabulous! We also had lunch with my family and I ended up being the queen (winner) of a monopoly game! Ha-ha! Good day overall!!
Feb 20th was the day I found out when Isaiah and I are attending our prenatal classes. I had signed us up the week before so it was just a matter of finding out when they were happening. So for us, they are held on Tuesday nights for two hours (after work hours) starting Tues March 15th and running until April 15th (so basically once a week for 5 weeks!). It should be interesting. The class is being held at the health clinic where I used to be a client for birth control and yearly check-ups! So yeah, it should be very interesting and it’ll also be another way for us to meet other parents to be that are also in London!
Feb 24th Marks another milestone in my pregnancy that I am finally at 24 weeks which makes me at 6 months along with our son in me!
Feb 26th was all about hanging out with Carol for four hours in the evening! Our time together was so fun! We had some shopping time but the majority of the hang out was at Carol’s place. I’m so happy we had a chance to be together for a longer visit this time which is rare these days now that we’re both busy with our own lives! I hope that we get to have another get together soon. She’s such an amazing best friend!!
So now that we’re all up to date with February news of my exciting life. There’s a lot going on for the upcoming month of March such as meeting the new OB/delivery doctor at St. Joe’s (new doc appt), our 3D/4D ultrasound, Easter, and I may be going out for a friend’s birthday near the end of that month as well. So I will have lots of dibs to share for sure in the coming weeks!!!
Have a great weekend, and keep on smiling.. Spring begins really soon, so keep hoping’ for good weather vibes with some sunshine and warmer air!!!! xoxo
