A Journey Home

Hi Everybody!

Well, this week was different. Not quite peachy as my weeks are ususally are. It was a very hard week. Read elow and you’ll see why.  I’ve made it through the week obviously though.

Tuesday afternoon,  Grams passed away so I left work early. Isaiah and I went to Mom’s house and hung around with her and the relatives. Wow, we didn’t think it’d be this soon, but oh well.  It was a very tough day. At last, Grams is reunited in heaven with her late husband though and she gets to watch over her five kids (including my mother). Grams was a wonderful person. Amazing. She lived a long life. She was 85.

Wednesday, Isaiah and I Visited Mom at the house again for a bit, and picked out stuff for Friday’s funeral mass with Mary Taylor.  Later on, we went shopping for a bit at Masonville. Isaiah got a new suit. I found a nice party dress for the Xmas party for next Friday, and a nice black dress shirt for Friday’s funeral.

The isitation for Grams was on Thursday at the funeral home from 2-4, dinner at the buffet place by the greyhound with the family, and then we were back at the visitation from 7-9 PM.  Thank you to all who came out to give tons of support and condolences!!! HUGS

Yesterday (Friday), we had the funeral mass for Grams at St. Mike’s (the same church where Isaiah and I got married earlier this May). Grams were buried at the cemetery following mass. Afterwards, there was some luncheon thing back at the church hall afterwards.  Then, there was just a family get together at my parents for the rest of the day.  We left after dinner though to chill back at home.  It was a really hard week, and I just wanted something good to end the crazy week so Isaiah and I went out to celebrate a birthday for one of my great friends, Christine at 29 Park. It was fantastic. We were there from 11 PM until 1:30 AM (the party was still going after we left, so I assume all the gals and guys left when the club closed LOL). Happy Birthday babe, hope you enjoyed it!

Alright, that’s all the updated news. The rest of the weekend will be as normal. Just general grocery shopping today, and jsut a lot of relaxing and cleaning our place.  Alan moves into his new apartment tomorrow. Congratulations, Alan! I can’t wait to check out your new pad LOL 🙂 Let us know what you still need so that we can get it for you as a xmas present 😉

Have a great weekend, everybody! Hang in there. Remember your hearts always hold the loved ones in it always even if they are deceased.  The souls live on!
